AMW WiFi & Ethernet designs hybrid networks for West Yorkshire homes: mesh where it is convenient, Ethernet where stone and brick will kill a wireless hop. We start with a paid assessment so you know exactly what the house needs before anyone buys kit.

Home Connectivity Assessment — £95

We visit, test and write it down.

You get:

• Speed and stability tests at the router and the rooms that actually matter

• A simple Wi-Fi survey (weak spots, channels, neighbouring interference)

• A traffic-light report and a clear recommendation for your property

The £95 is fully credited against any implementation over £300 if you book within 30 days. This is not a free look-round. It is the diagnosis that stops you wasting money on the wrong equipment.

Essential — £395 to £549

Best for a small terrace, flat, or a straightforward coverage problem. A properly placed mesh, set up and tested, with the basics done right.

Family Complete — £595 to £849 (most family homes)

Best for a semi-detached or a busy household. Whole-home coverage, wired backhaul where the walls need it, device prioritisation, handover and 30 days of support.

Premium Property — £995 to £1,795

Best for a large detached, multiple floors, or high-performance work and gaming. A designed network, not a bigger consumer kit. Access points, cabling and configuration matched to the house.

Landlord / Multi-Unit — £445 to £895

Best for rentals, HMOs and holiday lets. Guest network, isolated IoT, and a setup tenants will not quietly break.

Every package includes professional installation, testing and a simple handover. Final price is confirmed after the assessment. The ranges above are what we actually charge, not “from” teasers.

Add-ons (quoted after assessment)

• Router relocation and optimisation — £145 to £245

• Extra Ethernet run — £150 to £250 per run

• Smart home / IoT optimisation — + £150

• Security and guest network setup — + £75

Home Connectivity MOT — £95 a year

(£75 if you buy it with the install)

Annual re-survey, firmware, security check and a short report so the network does not quietly decay. MOT with priority remote support: £125 to £145.

How we work

1. Book the £95 assessment.

2. Read the report. Accept a proposal only if it makes sense.

3. 50% deposit, equipment ordered, install in 7–14 days.

4. Live with it. Then keep it healthy with the MOT.

No free survey. No obligation to proceed. No surprise “it will actually be more” after a cheap headline.
